Products produced: Polymers, including Acronal, Basonal, Butofan, Sterecoll, Styrofan and Stryronal. These prodcuts are used in a wide variety of goods, including adhesives, nonwovens, papers, carpet backing and construction chemicals.
Community relations: The Monaca site is an active participant in the United Way and several local school partnerships, including Pennsylvania State and University of Pittsburgh. It is also actively involved with the Route Eighteen Community Advisory Panel, Pennsylvania Chemical Industry Council, Job Training for Beaver County, and Local Emergency Planning Commission.
